Tanker & ISO-Tank Shipping

Product tankers and ISO tanks from the Baltic ports to EU and international lanes.

World Logistics Services ships crude, refined products, base oils and chemicals by sea from the Freeport of Riga, Ventspils and Liepāja. Bulk parcels move on chartered or liner product tankers. Smaller parcels and specialty grades move in ISO tank containers on short-sea and deep-sea services. One representative books the tonnage, prepares the documents and follows the voyage to discharge.

Bulk parcels on product tankers

For full or part cargoes we fix product and chemical tankers against your parcel size, load port and laycan. Ventspils and Rīga both offer tanker berths with tank storage behind them, so product can be accumulated ashore and lifted in one voyage. We handle the nomination, the terminal booking, cargo documents and the bill of lading, and we keep you informed from berthing to completion of discharge.

ISO tank containers for smaller and multimodal parcels

An ISO tank carries a single grade in a sealed, UN-certified portable tank that travels by road, rail and sea without transferring the product. It suits base oils, additives, lubricants and chemical parcels that are too small for a tanker fixture and too valuable to co-load. We select the tank code for your product, arrange cleaning certificates, and book the tank onto container services from the Baltic.

  • Short-sea to Baltic Sea and North Sea ports
  • Deep-sea via transhipment hubs to international lanes
  • Heated and insulated tanks for viscous product
  • Pre-carriage and on-carriage by road or rail in the same booking

Documents and dangerous-goods compliance

Most fuels are IMDG Class 3 at sea and ADR Class 3 on the road legs. We prepare the dangerous goods declaration, the container packing certificate for ISO tanks, and the export or transit customs entries. For excise goods leaving an EU tax warehouse we raise the e-AD through EMCS. You receive every document before the vessel sails.

How we deliver it

Before departure: product and quantity confirmed, equipment matched, documents issued. In transit: status at loading, sailing, transhipment and arrival. At destination: discharge coordinated with the receiving terminal, and the final documents sent to you the same day.

To request a quotation, send the product, quantity, load and discharge ports and your delivery window to [email protected] or use the contact form. You receive a written, itemised offer.
